2010 AMRA Model Train Exhibition OPEN MODELLING COMPETITION 21nd & 22rd AUGUST 2010 Caulfield Racecourse Station Street Caulfield 3162.  The Modelling Competition is open to all modellers and is being organised by the Australian Model Railway Association Victorian Branch Inc. The competition will be judged by a panel of expert modellers during the Saturday afternoon of the Exhibition. If applicable the judge’s comments about your model will be given to you when you collect your model. There are four categories:- Locomotive, Passenger rolling stock, Goods rolling stock and Structures including Dioramas. The prize for the “Best in Show” model will be $120.00 and the owners of the models judged to be best in the three categories other than the winning model will each receive $40.00. The modelling competition is proudly sponsored by:  BranchLine Model Railways, 490 Dorset Road Croydon 3136 Phone 9723 1211 Models will be insured against loss or damage by Fire or Burglary, whilst on display at Caulfield Racecourse and reasonable protection and security will be provided by A.M.R.A.. However, the organisers of the exhibition accept no liability or responsibility in relation to any loss or damage to entries in the competition. The entry form (downloaded from link) must be completed by the modeller and lodged with your model at the A.M.R.A. Information Stand at the Caulfield Exhibition, between 4:00pm and 7:00pm on Friday 20th August 2010 and between 9:00am and 12:00 noon on Saturday 21st August 2010.
